Read this on Ministry of Sound earlier, don't think I've heard any of his stuff before, like that Angels Fell tune in there though.

Let's hope he didn't listen to Roni's album from last year as inspiration for this.....

He needs to go back to his roots.

Some questionable tunes in this thread tbh.

There are a few eras of Dillinja I really love for different reasons, but given what we have heard from him since 2003 or so I doubt I am going to really dig anything on this album. It could either go really really well or this could be like one of those grim moments when you are walking through town and an old ex girlfriend you haven't seen in like ten or fifteen years runs up to you and you notice she is missing a few teeth and then she asks you for a fiver towards a bottle of gin and some nappies.

If there is anything at all with the weight and grit of his early stuff on Test or his stuff on Chronic prior to that Foxy Lady 12" then I am in, otherwise count me out.

Don't go telling me I am just refusing to let him "develop his sound" or "grow as an artist" either - I would buy Digitals farts on a limited cassette release, HE keeps switching it up all the time, but at least he keeps it fucking real.

My thoughts entirely, I'd even buy said limited cassette.

I would buy a tape of his farts, but I wouldn't buy a second-hand mic off him.

Was going to write a quick post to say not to discount him completely because he has still done a few decent things recently, but then I noticed that "Expansions" and "Going In" came out 10 years ago.... FUCK ME HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?

It's always a difficult situation. If he release an album of his 90's sound we'd all get dead excited and buy it, but it wouldn't fit.

If he was to release an album similar in sound to cybotron I could definitely roll with that because I still play tunes off that to this day. If he wants hospital / ram / viper ravers to be the crowds he plays too it's not going to be a good album.

*disclaimer - this is all my opinion :)

headlining Innovation in the Snow .....

    :(

He's not a talker is he? Took me 2 minutes to read that.

much longer recent (ish) interview here... starts at about 6:30.

18:40 talks about making new tunes ("all on that oldskool vibe")... also a bit at 14:30 where he almost seems to admit he went crap, lol
