simple question here...

ive stumbled across an artist .. Monsta ..

he does stuff like this ..

and makes videos like this

just wondered, how you'd go about creating this?

im assuming the first picture is drawn on computer software? or does he draw it on paper and scan it into the computer? ..

then how would you even attempt to animate your drawings?...

anyone have any idea at all.. and what software programs would be best to use??

something adobe im guessing?...

you can easily create images like that in photoshop or illustrator (y)

in fact, in that first one would be *really* easy to create because all of the colours are completely flat.

do you not sketch out on paper first? then scan into your computer and fill it in / go over it sorta thing? ... or do you just draw from scratch on illustrator?

get a graphics pad

plugs into your PC and it has a pen then whatever you draw comes up on illustrator/photoshop

been meaning to get one for ages just to mess around with

you can create images like that without a wacom board. just use the mouse.

you do not need to sketch it first, you can definitely draw that from scratch in illustrator. but if you find it easier to work by sketching first then scanning it in, there's nothing wrong with that.

photoshop v illustrator- they are different. some of the tools work differently. the pen tool in illustrator can take a bit of practise to get right.

You can definitely get a Wacom tablet that works with a PC. Had one at an old job that we used for editing in ArcGIS.
