Diffrent 3rd Birthday, 22nd March 2013, London
Left-field/left-zoo, Giraffestep D&B label, Diffrent will be sticking its long neck out and celebrating its grand third birthday on March 22nd.
Launching the night in pure celebration style, we will be bringing the party of the year to East London’s best-kept secret venue in Cremer Street, Hoxton. Bringing the vibes to the intimate house-party style venue will be the likes of Brighton newcomers, Fearful stepping up on the plates. One to watch with releases on Dispatch, Alignment & Proximity amongst other acclaimed labels, is DJ Billion of Fathom Audio, who will also be showcasing his latest Diffrent material. Following up from his distinguished set at the last Genesis party is label co-owner and gloomy drums producer, Hunchback, going back-to-back with tribal king Shaded, who has his first EP coming out on Diffrent later this year. Hosting the microphone all night will be talented Cardiff based MC XL, exhibiting all his forthcoming collaborations, along with one half of the Fathom Audio mike Czech team; the well respected, Diffrent Music resident wonk spitter: Sense MC.
Co-owner and head honcho, Dexta, will be playing his own birthday celebration set as well as for the for legged pink giraffic park crew before Belgian producers, MTWN, scheduled releases this year on Different, Proximity & Dispatch, unleash their highly anticipated debut UK show. Joining the pair as another headliner is the renowned artist DJ Fracture, with a string of releases on labels including Exit, Med School and his own funky bass themed imprint Astrophonica. Exclusive Diffrent resident Arkaik will of course be the one not to miss blowing up the set in a ground shattering exhibit of underground talent and his new ‘Cutting Edge EP’, which dropped start of Feb.
Other than the fabulous venue, and bass throbbing line-up, there will undoubtedly be a host of funny giraffe related décor, merchandise sales and the event will be covered by both photo and video teams.
Party kicks off at 10pm, full address will be sent to everyone who purchases tickets online, See you at the front!
