I'm quite partial to a bit of the "House Of The Flies".

thought that was their weakest album really. be quiet and drive was the definate stand out track on it though.

not all that live, they're really sloppy. they (used) to take pride in not rehersing and just showing up to shows smashed off their faces. just used to enjoy creating a massive wall of sonic doom :slayer: not a great 'tradtional' live band. but for the experience, totally worth it.

they are a quality band. every album is just sublime. white pony is probably at the forefront, but it kinda reminds me of darker times now. it's got a well twisted vibe about it.
deftones - deftones is probably my favourite album by them. was well upflifting to listen to after white pony. and carpenters guitar sound on that album is just immmeennssseeeeee. adrenaline was just well angsty. 7 words :slayer::slayer::slayer::slayer::slayer::slayer:

    wicked band all in all.

didn't really rate it man. it's the album (the one and only album) they didn't have complete control over the output of, and i think you can tell that too if you compare it to the others. it's by far the most commerical.
the label (i can't remember who) at the time kept on asking to change things and bits and pieces about it.
ultimatly i don't think they were very happy with it.

agreed, only seen vids of them live they dont sound that great, but to be half baked there in person i reckon could be awesome

plus the sounds they make in the studio i would think would be hard to master live
