'Founded in 2013 by well-established artists in the deep bass music scene Vanity (Matt Oliver) and Decka (Ciaran Maxwell), ‘Desolation Audio’ has set its sights as being one of the most sought after up-and-coming labels of the new year. Primarily setting their focus on releasing high quality music from the deeper end of the bass music scale, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the label nominated under the ‘Best New Label’ category in this year’s Dubstep Forum Awards.
Both minds behind the imprint already have a lot of experience and knowledge; Vanity having had critically acclaimed releases on US based label ‘Phantom Hertz Recordings’ and putting out an array of tight, masterfully produced tracks on a regular basis and Decka, who’s sound combines heavy subs and crisp drums with the equally as popular 170 style music, and who has more quality free downloads available on his Soundcloud than one can shake a stick at.
