Without examples of a roller, how do you describe one ?
something that stripped of all sounds, where the drum and the bass just "roll" thru the tune. Like a tune you could hear for an hour and never get sick of how it rolls thru

FIG 2 -
My personal definition ... "infectious repitition"
Upon a roller mission? ... Die & Break are top division

A sick tune that makes your head nod from start to finish.
break - let it happen
Andy C-Roll On
id say - A tune that from start to finish rolls... Its easy going, good simple kick n snare, usually the same sounds carry on though out the tune.
Commix - Solvent
Serum - Snake Fist
Spectrasoul - Alibi
Lomax - Artisan
DJ Fresh - Heavyweight
Don't agree with that mate, great tune but i think in my opinion it's to heavy (pardon the pun) to be a roller.
dj hype-rinse out
One of my favourite rollers from recent times is Cosmonaught by Logistics.
Back in the day[early to mid 90's: )] a "Roller" referred to the the Break that consisted of Drum rolls linked together & often in conjunction with an Amen over the top but nowadays it seem's to have morphed in tracks like 'The Cleaner' by Hybris etc.
Roller is for me high energetic, exceptionaly bass heavy dancefloor oriented tune that begs you to skank the fuck up like there no tommorow
