Your chords are nice but dont last long, so i'd say change up a few melodies a bit more, and chuck on the layers.

cheers for the feedback. uploaded a new version, lowered the kick and changed some of the other levels. added some more layers and changes. let me know if it sounds better pls

I listened to the new one. I like the overall feel, love the beat. The drum sounds themselves are a bit ... not muddy, but lacking crispness. Maybe they've been a touch over processed? As far as this version goes, there seems to be enough layers to keep the song interesting.
