Deep End vs Evolution- TRG & Equinox [dubstep vs jungle!]

Jan 3, 2003
Evolution music teams up with The Deep End to host this deadly double header of jungle vs dubstep. Put on your dancing shoes and flex those air drumming muscles.

Equinox (Scientific Wax, Planet Mu, Inperspective, Bassbin, Subtle Audio)

Having starting releasing tunes at the tender age of 13 with Bizzy B on Brain Records, his 7 /12 Minutes Of Madness track is still rinsed today at the legendary Technicality nights in London as well as numerous other releases on Inperspective, Bassbin, Subtle Audio, Warm Communications, Metalheadz and many more. He will be bringing nothing but pure sub bass pressure and a million and one variations on the much loved amen break to this party. Expect plenty of unreleased dubs and upcoming tunes on his own Scientific Wax and Planet Mu his set is sure to test Backlash’s new subs to their limit. Old skool and fresh jungle vibes are sure to collide.

TRG (Hessle Audio, Immerse, Naked Lunch, Hotflush, Tempa)

Romanian based producer, TRG, has had a string of immaculately produced dubstep & minimal garage tracks on a vast array of prominent labels, including Audio Freaks, Immerse, Cool and Deadly & Subway. Tracks such as 'Everything We stand For', 'Time Is Now' & his 'Missed Calls E.P.' have earnt him his place on one of the founding dubstep labels, Tempa, which has been responsible for breaking through artists such as Skream, Benga, Coki, Headhunter & Kode 9. His Tempa releases, 'Decisions' & 'Surreal' demonstrate his aptitude for making blissed out minimal garage, but previous tunes like 'Killed It Dead' and 'Your Friends like Techno' show a breadth of different influences iuncluding jungle & Techno. 2009 will be TRG's year for sure.
