Dedbult - Hazchem, A Work In Progress

I deleted the old thread, i accidentally uploaded an old version.


Anyhoo, below is a track ive been working on on and off for a while.
I used one or 2 samples (including the voice), the majority i made from scratch.

Wanted aggressive bass, but didnt want to slip into the realms of neurofunk just yet.

Still needs a lot of work, but the idea i had in my head is down.

Any criticisms are welcome =P.

hey man, i think the drums needs some moar low end in them and some more punch, they sound a bit flat in my headphones!! they could all do with standing out a bit more in the mix. its a cool tune though

Yeah, i think thats the plan of action. Whenever i put together a drum loop, i get up, play it, and try to skank/dance to it, and it just doesnt really work with this beat.

drum pattern wise is cool, but that snare definately needs to pul through more... i see it sort of having a 'cheung' sorta metalic sound?

not inna this kind a tune so dont really know what to offer you creativly?

As i say, its a major work in progress, i am planning on lengthening the intro, and varying it up more. Any recomendations as to how i could do so?
