    Howdy,

Anyone know where I can get some good quality Animal sound samples. Tried a few places on the web already, but the quality was not great at all.

    Cheers,

    R.

Um. Nature documentaries? I don't know.
Depends what kind of animal I guess.

Aye, I could do that, but I was wondering if anyone knew where I could grab some wavs as it's handier than watching through a load of documentaries... :)

    Visit the zoo.

I actually went to Dudley Zoo in saturday, and I'm tempted to sort some granular samples out using sea lion sounds etc. hah
    .
Also, have you tried checking out nature sounds for film makers? I accidentally ended up with a CD full of cow sounds once - could be worth a look.

Get out there and record! Can't get better than that. It also boosts inspiration.
Another way is to synthesize them, though it can be a bit trickier.
