this is realy nice m8, very chilled, could listen to something like this all day. the only thing i can say production wise is i think the kick needs some work, it sounds quite odd to me but, might just be me... anyways, enjoyed listening to this, thanks!
i appreciate the feedback. i used a hip hop sample for the drums, and it was clipping in the original sample. So i notch filtered it as best that i could and adjusted the fades just a tad to eliminate the popping. i tried shelfing the low end but it gutted the character of the loop. nothing too professional, just a little something to ram your stocking.
sounds to me like it needs a funky electric bassline to come in at some point,
you know, like something Nathan Watts would bust out...
Ahh what a chillah bro I really enjoyed this tune. It's like a sunday sunset on the beach with good friends. You might work a little bit more on the kicks but beside that there is nothing else I can think of.
@dutty - it wasnt even a rhodes patch. It was a guitar chord time stretched.
