Dawn Day Night - The Re-Animation Ritual - 5th August

I think this goes in this section as its not DnB. The clip in the layer is way slowed down but sounds like it will have The Reanimation of Scottie & Mister Meaner on it

Was about to post this. Fucking wicked EP. Reanimation of Scottie is so stripped back and fresh. Definitely wanna be trying to take the tempo down to squeeze that into mixes. Anyone got any clues as to who Dawn Day Night is? I've always had a suspicion that it's Fracture....but maybe that's only because DDN releases on Astrophonica

Been tempted to pick this up. I thought you'd have to speed the tunes on here up as they are slower than dnb?
Anyhow, there is a thread on DOA asking if Dawn Day Night is Fracture. Also.....

But if DDN is Fracture, isn't it a bit weird that there have been so many Frcature feat. Dawn Day Night tracks? Or is it just schizophrenia?

My bad, poorly explained. I meant as in, bringing the tempo of the whole mix down to the tempo of the DDN tracks. Or, yeah, raising the tempo of these tracks.

    Very good point....

    I get ya!

Is a bit weird, but Cybertron featuring Dillinja (= 2x Dillinja):- http://www.discogs.com/Cybotron-Feat-Dillinja-Light-Years-Revelations/master/476740

Only other example I can think of. J Majik & Wickaman might be the Cookie Monsters http://www.discogs.com/J-Majik-Wickaman-vs-Cookie-Monsters-Fleshwound-Roadrunner/master/217106

Maybe he just added the "feat Dawn Day Night" to kind of push the name of that alias. Dawn Day Night and Fracture feat Dawn Day Night tracks are more experimental, and never straight up drum & bass like much of Fracture's work with Neptune and solo work.

Which one? the 140 trappy one is Star Trek (I think) and one of the 160 ones, the vocally one is an old funk record, not sure which

I thought it was a rework of the Subnation tune Scotty which samples Evil Dead.

Dawn Day Night is definitely Fracture. It's for his 160 stuff mostly. The whole "feat." thing was just to be cheeky, confuse people, and get that name out there I think.

I don't know about the original but the 2013 remake wasn't bad imo.
