Dark Minimal Drum & Bass HELP

What can I do to this track to make it sound better, this is my first attempt at producing this style and could do with some constructive criticism.

Make the drums more unique sounding, process that bass again, it's a bit too muddy and in the background, you probably want it a bit more mono in the low end, and it sounds like theres a few peaking freqs in the high end you wanna get rid of... cheerssssss

surgical EQing .. comes from the english phrase "using an equalizer"; meaning knowing how to use an equalizer... makes you sound like a doctor. Maybe theyve been playing too much operation.
