If the prospect of a hectic weekend mowing the lawn, posting a letter and doing the “big shop” is leaving you feeling fatigued, be thankful you’re not Danny Howard who, along with the rest of the Radio 1 crew, will be cramming an impossibly big “to-do” list into this weekend by broadcasting live from Ibiza for Radio 1’s annual Ibiza Weekend.
Not content with sticking to his usual Dance Anthems slot on Saturday evening, Danny has bagged not one, not two – but four primetime sets over the course of what is shaping up to be a monster few days. He’ll be kicking things off on Friday evening at the Ushuaia Ibiza Beach hotel where Danny Howard, Pete Tong, B-Traits and Benga will be hosting a live broadcast with some incredible special guests, including: Nervo; Rudimental; Alesso and George Fitzgerald. Following that little warm up, it’s then of course onto Eden for Danny’s residency at Judgement alongside Judge Jules.
Squeeze in a quick nap? Perhaps.
Saturday sees Danny going in full throttle once again from the get-go; warming up with his Dance Anthems show which is being broadcast live from Café Mambo at 16:00, Danny will then head straight to Cream Ibiza for the live broadcast of the Radio 1 Essential Mix, hosted by Danny Howard and Pete Tong and featuring industry heavyweights like Eric Prydz and Hardwell. Phew.
And then chill on Sunday?
