Any feedback on how this all fits together? Vocals need a little processing and transitions need a bit extra work but otherwise feels pretty finished. Struggling on a shit setup so it's really hard for me to get volumes / eq right so feedback in that area really appreciated.

Thanks!

I like the idea, its a pretty interesting mixture of song elements. I would definitely work on the eq-ing of the bassline though, its not quite pronounced enough for me, it disappears a lil in the mix.
Some of the vocals fit better than others, like the one at 0:57 seems a lil out of place, while the one at 2:14 fits really well. Other than that maybe some polishing of that lead (trumpet?) melody, and some boosting of the kick through an eq + some sidechaining and I think it might sound tighter :2thumbs:

Yeah the bass feels a bit quiet / lost in the mix for me. I really like the drum work, the musical samples sound cool, but get lost in the mix a bit too. I like the 808-y drop around the 2 minute mark. Reckon your tune would benefit from a more conventional structure. Definitely loads of wicked dub samples in here, so a lot of potential :)

Thanks for the feedback, really helpful. Great to hear what needs more prominence in the mix.

Reload - what would a more conventional stucture look like?!
