Wonderful stuff on here, fans of Exit / Samurai Horo type stuff should be all over this, and should obviously also check all of DAAT's other stuff out too because it's been absolutely wicked without exception to date.

"At its best an album is an opportunity for an artist to fully explore the ideas behind their music to the most logical and sometimes illogical extremes, and here lies the mission statement of HVAC. DAAT's voyage into the mechanics of machine music brings together all of the visions of a dystopic future previously expressed in their work, joining all of the dots in one journey. This is porn for robots...."

^ lol, yes, I'm quite sure the people posting in a thread for a DAAT lp are going to know exactly what Friction is ending his festival sets with when he plays the Hospital stage, and will recognise it from your distorted camera recording.

Hopefully someone knows :)

yeh, you couldn't have picked a more ill-fitting thread if you had tried.

and no one replied because you didn't post it in the right place to begin with. read the rules before you complain

I put it in the right thread on the website but no one has replied for weeks on end so rather put it in a thread that is recent with people most likely to visit.

Digital only :-/

I think digital only LP's should be called 'albums' and actually vinyl released should be called 'LP's'. Wouldn't get my hopes up as much then.

Quality tunes from DAAT though

yes indeed i have.

i went to the first one but after that i haven't got anymore notifications in my facebook of when you were holding the other ones. is there a website a check out with more details?

cheers,

Ah wicked. Unfortunately the fb Artefact group is the one for that---perhaps adjustments in fb's sharing policies caused the lack of info? We're in the process of shifting venues now, but we should be back with another Artefact in September.
