Honey (D Kay & Epsilon mix)
Light airy keys drift melodically against an SOS woodblock & crunchy percussion tools. A 4 step bassline vibrates the lower end & cuts the flow nicely with Verse's reverbed & slowly filtered vocals, which sit nicely with the airy melody.
Things soon take a nice twist when the large bassline steps up & demands control of the pace which this track will flow, & it rolls along to a great effect, with simple amen shakers & quick drops adding to the groove it's pretty hard to ignore the following this tune will receive.
The bassline starts playing cat & mouse with another switch b-line that tries stealing the limelight but both end out winners as it just makes the light shakers & woodblock flow effortlessly into the female vocals.
Nothing rushed in this mix from D Kay & Epsilon just letting the music & groove take full effect.

D Kay reveals his second side as his other main man Rawfull bring there unresitable trance fuelled production skills to hordes of 1am ravers.
This is pure energy & excitement from the off. Weeping guitar melodies sing lushesly against tear drop synths, & jungle snares bounded by electro kicks. Big synth breaks are the order of the day with Verse's singing hook & harmonic duet with a mysterious female vocal. The build gains pace through hardcore kick drums before soaring into the night with some rifftastic trance arpeggio's.
Crashing drums & emaculate mastering skills bring this one to life always pounding along but so uplifting not to the point of cheese but just pure euphoria in a way that I think Illskillz create beautifully.
Verse spits some quick lyrics about 'things getting messy between him & his girl' before the second break sweeps in & lands you back into your chair.
This is going to raise a few opinions as people feel very strongly about Trance elements been used dramatically in tracks but if there done in a way that is made to give you a good feeling of enjoyment & dancefloor happiness where's the harm?
