Anyone else as big of a fan as I am? Rate his production so highly, absolutely sick producer. Brings a new edge to the filthy dubstep imo and his other chilled/alternative beats are just incredible.

Green (Urban Rainforest) may just be my favourite tune of all time.. Unbelievable stuff!

Has anyone seen him live recently? I'm off to see him in Brighton tonight (alongside KOAN and Zinc) and pretty unsure what to expect. I'm sure it will be very filthy dubstep/glitch hop driven but i'm praying he plays a couple of chilled bits. Anyone know?

Oh, you're seeing Koan too, that guy has some serious tunes aswell. Never saw Culprate, only @ Ukflive broadcast, but saw Koan Sound and it's absolutely grimey

his style is pretty unique imo

I haven't really bothered checking him out...
I've heard a few of his tunes though and the production is fucking sick. Koan sound have been around for years. I'm glad they are getting the recognition they deserve.

played this one in the middle of a dnb set once, went down quite well :)

if you mix it in when its just those pads before it drops its quite hard to tell the BPM and then it drops and everyone is confused for a sec adn then like wtffff is this?!? (in a good way)

Absolutely sick night in the end, forgot about this thread!

Culprate smashed it, rinsed drum and bass on 3 decks to absolute perfection at the end of his set aswell, was beautifully surprised! Had a chat with him at the end of his set aswell which was pretty cool!

KOAN Sound absolutely tore it apart too

Fucking love culprate and KOAN. There was an interesting producer interview with Culprate out on Youtube recently, where he talks about sampling the sound of biting into an apple and mixing pasta and stuff. He said he spends no more than 4 days on almost every song he makes.

I love the rawness of his production. It reminds me of the way Madlib makes his hiphop if any of you are familiar with that.

Yeah I saw that interview. I asked him if he makes any of his music on K, and he does, some of it. Crazy
