Cuebase SX Sampling Question

This may sound very novice, which would be the case, but, in Cuebase, how would I, if I could that is, use a WAV / MP3 sample in a key editor?

I'm just trying to get to grips with the prog.. I have no midi keyboard and am just using softsynths, VSTi's etc but I have a few samples I've taken which I wish to vary the key with throughout the tune... i.e. create a bassline / synthline etc.


Any help on this matter would make you a very much better human than myself.

q if i bought the emulator card would it work alongside my motu 828 as a sampler...cos i am fast returning to the idea of proper solid state synths and samplers ....:lighter: :shit_happ emulator is best of both worldz
 
i use kontakt for beats aswell
as bass.... and everything else...
when i had the privillage of meeting
dom.. found out he uses kontakt for
beats to... tried it out...
love it...

Yeah man i use Kontakt as well for beats i was just trying to be a know-it-all!!!! :spliff:
