Seriously though.
I've got a VESTAX VMC 185 XL. It's a rudeboy when it comes to mixing, I love it to bits. The thing is when i used to have and old PMC 05 mkII for scratching, the crossfader could be put onto the tiniest curve which meant awesome cutting and crabbing. However, even thought the VESTAX VMC 185 XL has a small curve setting, it's almost "un-crabbable". Just wondering if there's anyway to solder a few wires or replace a crossfader to get that miniscule curve like in the old days? This would save me buying a side mixer for scratching.
All help is appreciated.
Cheers

You might be able to put a proXfade or innofader in it, i had a quick look on their websites and couldnt see your mixer listed as compatible but worth contacting them to find out as Im pretty sure you'll be able to fit one of them. I went through the same prob as you trying to find a decent fader for my xone42, emailed both companies looking for a solution and both were really helpful, went for the innofader in the end.
