    Craggz & Parallel – ‘Woman’b/w ‘Zones’

Anyone else notice a gap in the Product release schedule? Well, no longer! Now is your opportunity to get your hands on the missing release. This one is packed full of all the musical energy that you have come to expect from the Craggz & Parallel Forces sound of the last few years.

’Woman’ rolls out with sultry piano lines and a husky vocal that oozes effortless class. Rising pads and syncopated synth lines herald the arrival of a typical Craggz & Parallel beat, rolling and bright before the drop. Then there’s the bass! Plenty of low end to rattle your ribcage while the smokey vibes descend into dirty madness. Backing that up is ’Zones’ a magical combination of stepping drums and filtered guitar licks. As usual you need to watch your bassbins as some pure electronic funk slaps you round the face while a cheeky hip hop sample steals your wallet.

Craggz & Parallel – ‘Shake The Disease’ b/w ‘Magnetize’

    Craggz & Parallel Forces
exploded onto the drum & bass scene in 2004 with their inimitable dancefloor anthem ‘Fizzy Piglets’, since then their output has been a steady succession of club killing bangers with a touch of musicality about them. This year however sees the boys abandoning the crossover style that has brought them so much attention; stripping back the layers to reveal a sleeker, more streamlined Craggz & Parallel sound.

The first release to feature their new outlook is an incredible beauty-and-the-beast affair ‘Shake The Disease’ a track which has been getting Goldie and Marcus Intalex hot under their respective collars with its futuristic throw down of earth shattering grimy beats and bass mingled with spine tingling melodic flourishes. On the flip side ‘Magnetize’ takes you to an entirely different place. Drawing upon minimal techno influences and creating an eerie electronic soundscape to compliment the stripped back production giving this track a truly unique identity.
