Could you help with this bass?

    Hi guys!
    Check out that bass in the file below... its just freakin me out xD
    How did they do that? your ideas?

    Yeh thats quite a nice reece! I'm pretty sure its made on massive, possibly with all 3 oscillators running. Either that or another grittier reece layered over the top.

    I don't think your attempt is far from it. Do you have a reece machine? If not, google it and download for free then I would try layering another reece on top of the one you've made, add chorus & a bit of Flange in their as well like you have down on the one you have so far.

    reason thor is pretty perfect for this. Take 2 multi osc saw, detune them to get the harshness, put them both through a comb filter, automate the filter frequ to get the movement in pitch over time, put some screamm distortion/overdrive on it.
