MC Conrad is taking a step back from Good Looking Records. After having been with Good Looking Records since it's early inception the label has weathered many storms and has managed to break barriers in the music industry that paved the way for new artists to follow in their paths.

Aesop said "Don't be deceived by grand appearances". Not everything the glitters is gold. Behind the scenes the music industry is one of the worst and most tough industries to make a living in. Hunter S. Thompson once said "The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side."

Promoters typically book LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad for about 2000+ Euros. For years, if not over a decade, MC Conrad's share of that fee was a mere 200 Euros each performance. This is the main inspiration MC Conrad has for walking way from the dynamic duo that is 'LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad."

However, there is a new MC in town that will be replacing MC Conrad for the time being. His name is MC Moose! You can check him out at most if not all future LTJ Bukem performances instead of MC Conrad. It seems as though this is a another nail in the coffin for Good Looking Records. With a new stable of artists that have been waiting for releases for years this is definitely another blow to the Good Looking Label. We wish MC Conrad the best.

conrad was and is a rude mc. moose is a badman though. interesting about the pay scales bit, wouldve thought it would be more evenly spread

That's a bit of a joke if those fees are to be believed. End of an era that's for sure

good looking is falling apart and to me it seems bukem doesn't care nor do anything about it. good for conrad tho. somethings not right with glr.

bukem has to be the most arrogant twat in dnb. he thinks he is leagues above every label boss and producer and dj. he is expecting this magical re-birth of glr where every label steps aside and we all bow down at his feet and absorb his greatness. well guess what, you have pissed off most of your fans, other labels are doing far better and now even your artist roster are leaving you. makoto, conrad, who will be next? if furney left he would get snapped up in seconds. sort your dying label out and start releasing some tunes or people will completely forget about GLR and all you will be left with is a diminishing dj slot every other weekend at fabric where you look out at a crowd which seems to be slowly disappearing to nothing. rant over

lol they haven't had a release for 3 years how is it that the label is still going? all they do is have a bunch of dubs people were after that they sat on for so long now that they're obsolete.

..and NOW it is pissing him off? ..Moose..is no good. Sure he´s content with 200 bucks..badboy sound, movin round, on the case..same old lyrics since the stone age.
