Hello fellow heads of the DNB cyber world...

Just a really simple question really, thinking of getting some monitors as my amp just went POP, I wont strictly be producing, but mixing vinyl and recording it onto my comp, but I want some good quality speakers to hook up to a DJ Mixer. The Mixer has 2 x RCA outputs, and the Monitors im looking at have XLR or 6.3 mm jack. Would I go jack to single RCA?

Also am I about to make a blunder using monitors for my mixing? will they be too flat/true, should I just buy another amp and hook my passives back up?

the set up is in a large bedroom....

tar very much

That totally depends on the monitors if they are good for DJ-ing.

You'll need an RCA to Jack cable. Plug the double RCA plug in the mixer output for a stereo signal and route the left jack to the left speaker input and the right to the right input.

Done.

I don't know which monitors are suitable for DJ-ing since I'm not a DJ myself.
But I think the KRK's will be a good choice.

KRK's are a good choice
and if you can't have them both facing you then just set them to mono (ie. one towards the "crowd" and one towards you)
