DnB Compression with a goal in mind (Tut)

sick article, always something that i haev done without really knowing what im doing, recomend everyone read this

No sweat, anytime, I have been through learning compression myself and it took the best part of 10 years and I have been working in audio for 20 so I know how long it can take. Despite starting out producing my own music and going to an audio engineering college + working for years on end professionally at a production company I found this was my way of explaining how compression works and no one explained it quite like this.

I realized the importance of hearing the compression action and not the level changes which are most predominant/obvious to the ear, in fact the level change is a big culprit for compression taking so long to learn IMO as it masks the compressor 'action' on the sound.

Really pleased people got something from it. Feel 100pct free to spread it far and wide.
