Cleaning Mixers

I can feel my beloved Numark DXM09 dying on me I think it just needs a good old clean but how am i supposed to do this?

I just wipe mixer over wiv a washing up pad (delicately off course)

Crossfader though or channels + that, I use COTTONBUDS man, find it helps a lot.

But, then agin I spose It depends on how shagged ya mixer is?

Cheers mate, the problem is one of the channels, when i play it into my pc through line in it doesnt pick up my 2nd channel (3 channel mixer)? I am thinking of buying a air compressor cleaning kit or what ever its called but wanna see if theres any techniques other members have! such as cotton buds lol

you can get cans of compressed air for a tenner from maplins. a combination of that and 'switch cleaner' will give you your best chance

Dunno if its the same stuff but try electrical contact cleaner. Works like a dream!
