Sounds like B minor scale. He's probably using some inversions though. Try playing the 1,3,7,6 in Bm. See if that gets close.

What DAW do you use? In ableton9 you have this render to midi harmony function (i think logic also provides it, i don't know about the other ones). It's not perfect but you can find out the chords and the key of the tune easily. Hope that helps!

Otherwise use an external program, like melodyne, it's not cheap but i don't know any alternative
