Do you have a laptop ? If you do, just grab a bcd3000 and mix mp3s. Cheap as chips. Also, you can just use any hi-fi for speakers if you are really strapped !

Second hand Technics. Because when you sell them you will get your money back.

Very tight budget then if you're wanting decks and speakers!

I managed to get some Numark TT-2s and fairly decent Numark mixer for £100 delivered on ebay a couple of years ago... just keep looking every day and look hard for shit listings by ebay noobs that aren't in the right catagories!

As for budget speakers i'm not sure but I wouldn't mind finding out myself. Thinking of buying some 2nd hand KRK Rokit 5s when I can afford it.

    youve got two choices
brand new - you will get the bog standard belt drives and fisher price my first mixer - these start at about £169 and an amp and speakers that will probably sound pants - for around £100
    OR
like mentioned above second hand off ebay will get you more for your money but you dont know how much theyve been used

I found one too. I was going to share but I kinda wanted it

Looks like I'm 30 dollars short tho. To make money I'm going to master people's songs for 10 dollars at school. they won't know that I'm not that great and I'm just using some presets and karma's quotes as a guide

if ur jst doin this for partys and stuff then dont go with vinyl.

im guessin ur not gonna want to spend £6-£7 for a tune u want, mp3's are the one if ur on a cheaper flex.

vinyls still the one though, but be prepared to rinse your money
