Chase & Status round off another massive year by launching their own label, MTA. Saul from Chase & Status recently took time out of his busy schedule to tell us all about it.
Why have you launched a label?
MTA has been set up to put out exciting, cutting edge music. It's always been a goal of ours to own our own label and it's something we're very excited about.
What would you say is the ethos behind the label?
The ethos is to put out edgy music of any genre. We want to continue to put music back into the scene and really create a family vibe where all the artists have plenty of input. We want to do things correctly and help our artists progress in all aspects of their career.
Can you tell us more about your key artists?
We've signed Nero exclusively which we're really excited about - they've been making some really great dnb, dubstep and house and we can't wait to release their album.
Tell us more about your first single...
The first single is Cotti ft. Doctor - Rise The Temperature / 501 - Insanity. Both artists have been making some big waves in dubstep for a while and these tracks have had a lot of rotation - release is scheduled for November 30th. Cotti & Doctor are from south London and 501 is Finland's finest!
Do you have any more releases confirmed?
We do indeed, we have a 12" from Sam Wire ready to go and have also signed a massive single from Redlight.
What are you most looking forward to in 2010?
Releasing our second album, touring with the band, producing for others, releasing great music on MTA and really pushing the label and artists further.

Watch out for the MTA night which we shall be launching very soon and we're up for receiving music and demos.
