Okay, here's the main reason Final Scratch hasn't cooked my bacon totally yet. As far as I am aware there is no way to see where on the record the needle is.
I can mix a tune I've never heard before just by looking at the vinyl to see where the drops are, where the bass kicks etc.
Dunno about trying this with FS, you canna see the grooves capt'n!!

that is a fookin good point, shit i dunno what i'd do without being able to see where i need to come out or into a tune.

Yeah but it lets you see the wav and to me that's easily good enough to mix from a drop etc.
