Okay, here's the main reason Final Scratch hasn't cooked my bacon totally yet. As far as I am aware there is no way to see where on the record the needle is.
I can mix a tune I've never heard before just by looking at the vinyl to see where the drops are, where the bass kicks etc.
Dunno about trying this with FS, you canna see the grooves capt'n!!

that is a fookin good point, shit i dunno what i'd do without being able to see where i need to come out or into a tune.

final scratch and cd players are out the window until they come up with a system to solve this.

I reckon they could have some marker system by using times.

On FS 1.1 you can look at the whole wave once it has been ripped to the HDD to see where you are in the tune. Still not the same though.

Yeah but it lets you see the wav and to me that's easily good enough to mix from a drop etc.
