Numark Axis 8 or 9 if you don't have a lot of cash. Solid, good sound quality, effects, loops, loads of pitch. Blows 200s out of the water.

I've just bought a pair of Denon S1000's, pretty darn good so far, but if money isn't a problem I'd go for the 5500's.

    Why not the Pioneer 1000's?

I'd probably say the Pioneer 800's

Because they're expensive as fuck and you can get the same for less. A lot less.

I'm in the process of acquiring a pair of Pioneer CDJ1000 mk3's, after testdriving them I can happily say they are the best out there. You can get the same widgets and gubbins on other decks for less, but the quality and reliablity far supasses anything else out there, even the Denons imo.
