Hi!
I`d like to ask for advice on promoting creative commons track.
So far I`ve googled the basic soundcloud tips&tricks (following people, commenting tracks etc.) An option which interested me most was the soundcloud groups but when I did a research I found out that most of the groups are "dead". No real activity and most of all - NO STYLE (by style I mean the visual side - group avatar, description etc.)
Next thing are the .cc netlabels. There are lots of netlabels out there so I found it kind of hard to determine which are "good enough"... (again refering to "STYLE").
For example here in Slovakia there is a decent .cc netlabel (MELODICA NETLABEL - I got a release there back in 2010) but for example they aren`t interested in "harder genres".
Does anyone have any experience/tips&tricks to take this to a higher level?
A list of decent .cc netlabels would be nice too (various genres).
+What about posting a list of your favourite youtube music channels?
Top for me :
http://www.youtube.com/user/majesticdnb [dnb]
http://www.youtube.com/user/majesticcasual [not dnb]
Nice selection and visual STYLE!
2nd - Seeking for less major channel that would post amateur/semi-professional tracks for new producers promotion.
