When I first saw Episode VII, I absolutely fell in love with the processing on Kylo Ren's voice. The distortion was absolutely immaculate–––it had the ideal warm crunchy tone without being crispy. The range of frequencies was perfection. Of course you need a good voice to start with for it to sound good, but still... the sound design. Did any of y'all think that when you saw the film?
(Maybe I'm totally off me nut here and it really wouldn't be that hard to replicate exactly, but I at least I was impressed as a producer of a few years' experience)
