can anyone reccomend a good wind up synth?

    yo guys, ive been on the lookout everywhere for the perfect synth thats able to do that one perfect wind up i need before the big drop, does anybody have any recommendations as Ive had no luck so far.

    u can take any that it have WHITE NOISE generator

    i do ever in VANGUARD

    you know that no? so i think that it really works good to do the "subidon" of a main break for example

    make your own patch. Set glide/portamento to as slow as it goes, then set your lfo to control pitch and maybe filtercutoff or that type of thing. Then turn the lfo dial to slowest. Also press lowest key, or where you want to start your build. Then press the highest key and have the pitch slowly climb smoothly between notes as you increase the rate of the lfo by turning the knob. This method works great. It's called using your synth. If you can, use a real piece of hardware, as vst's come off sounding plastic.

    really good setup i only draw the envelope of the freq filter cut what synth do you use man?

    a basic plugin where you can adjust the pitch and lfo rate is all u need really.
    unless your gunna produce the techier stuff which tends to have more complex buildups.

    also remember a lot of producers use multiple synths on buildups to stop it sounding so empty
