Hi, I'm looking to get some monitors soon and gonna upgrade me turntables n was wonderin if these were gud choices.

For monitors I'm looking at Mackies MR 8 http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR288779, been using my stero for mixing and producin since I started about a year ago and the quality of them is jus doin me head in now. I am prepared to spend a fair bit on some good quality monitors (around the 500 mark), and heard a while back that mackies are very good monitors.

For new turntables I'm looking at Stanton ST 150s http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR198635, since I started I've had the t62s and they've been alright for getting the hang on things but propa doin me head now. Not really got the money for the technics mk2s yet, and heard from a mate that these are stantons answer to technics:confused:?

Any feedback appriacted :)

The Stantons are awesome tunrntables, I prefer mixing on them to Technics. Go for it.

I can't really advise you on the Mackies, studio monitors aren't my cup of rosy.

If you buy Stantons you will only regret not waiting for Technics. You are beter off buying Technics second hand, everybody I know got theirs either years and years ago or got them second hand. I am selling some very good condition Technics 1210 MK2's mate for £400. See the thread below for pictures and more details :)
