can any one recomend ALESIS M1 ACTIVE 620

    im thinking of buying a pair of ALESIS M1 ACTIVE 620 but wud like to hear feedback off anyone who's got a pair or who's heard the sound quality... respect

    yes, i can! i persoanlly really like them... nice tonal quality, decent low end too! don't own e, but a mate does and they is wicked!

    they aren't as 'harsh' as some monitors... and even have a dial on the back to tune the sound from flat to 'loud' if you know what that means!

    will be buying a pair next month (y)

    buy m1 mk2s instead imo. much better bass response!

    agreed, I use M1 MK2's alongside my tannoys, they are excellent monitors for the £

    well they are quite subby, youre right. but i for myself, especially with producing dnb want a decent lowend. no monitors make cross checking on different systems unnecessary imo.

    NS 10s, if something sounds good on them it will anywhere, but yeah i would always cross reference anyway

    You might want a good low end response but one thats overly subby isnt ideal

    For the money though they aint bad granted
