I've been producing for a while now and ever since I've started ive wanted to know how this lead is made, I understand that its a combination of saw/square waves with +/- 5 or 7 pitching but I've never been able to come close too it. I'm using massive btw

It can be heard at 1:28 on its own and throughout the track layered with a distorted electric guitar like synth

Its for them to know and nothing more. Personally I think, producers..dnb producers in particular, keeping how they achieved sounds to themselves is what makes or breaks a producers success. I mean if everyone knew how to make this synth or what ever everyone would be making top shit.

Mess around with these waveforms to start of

OSC 1 Reducer,
OSC 2 Sinarmonic 1
OSC 3 Multiplex

It will not sound exactly like their lead, there is a bit more out of the box processing involved, but you get will get a similar texture ;)
