Yeah its a good way of looking at it for real, some people will see that as a negative is all i'm getting at really... Regardless of their "taste", as it were...
Singles and EPs have come a little bit more throwaway. When you buy an album you’re investing in an artist and getting so much more of a journey and getting into their mind. Single tracks come and go; but albums are really milestones of that moment.
Not saying I disagree with this, funny thing though, most of the dnb albums are still just a collection of headbanging (or lush flowing) tunes, a collection of singles if you will. Definitely as far as RAM LPs are concerned, they didn't really show much variety ever since Sub Focus' first LP. They still do churn out killer singles/EPs though.
