C-Cassette ruffness

I just tried bouncing a bassline to a c-cassette. I have this old pioneer deck from circa 1980 that has just unbelievable noise reduction button. Makes it so goddamn warm... Only problem is when i bounce it back, there's some hum and slight hiss. it should be noise reduction but i think it's fucked up somehow. Or then it's just wack and old. Nothing that those Waves noise reduction plug-ins can't do though.

Who would've thought...

Now i'm on a mission to find an open reel recorder (what is it exactly in english?)

It's Reel to Reel in english
A guy told me he'd give me one of these but he never came through with it.
