Broadband Dongles!??...which to get??

Moved into my own place a couple of weeks ago, had broadband for the period of it being disconnected...now its gone...i dont want a propa router due to renting the flat and cant be arsed to hook down to a stagnant contract...so im going to get a dongle...

Anyone got one of these??...or know anyone that has...

if so...which company do i go for??...any good or bad experiences??

i was lookin at this the other day. the thing you gotta keep your eye on is useage allowanced and shit like that.
you can pick some up for £40-£50, and do a pay as you go dealio. some cost as little as £2 a day. depends on how much you use it...
sorry i can't be of much help. i'm actually more interested in what people have got to say about this!

I wouldn't touch 3G dongles with a barge pole. You need a decent signal (i.e near a mobile mast) to get decent speed and then when you use your download limit they charge extortionate prices for data transfer. 20p per kb in some circumstances.

5GB download limit is nothing. You can use 500MB just through surfing in one night.

i got a mast at the end of my road!!...so no worries about signal strength...

i dont need it to do major downloading...just access my emails and upload work to clients etc...
