richie: when you get there have a look to see if you have any wireless networks in range.

PM me with a list if you do, i might be able to help you out

i think most broadband contracts do have a get out clause which usually involve paying 3 months as a buyout.

copy and paste loads of threads dating back. prinit them out and have a forum book, get a notepad and pen, and write down your replys in your little book.. then in 6months when you get back on the forum, whip out ya little 'dnbforum replys note pad' .. and find the thread and reply to them, its not instant gratification over that 6 months.. but boy , when you get back on it , and start replying with 6mnths of comments, youll be boyed out you mushkins. yeeeeee am still pissed

Why don't you get mobile internet for 12 months and then you can use that when you move out in 6 months for another 6 months, then you don't have to buy the intrernet straight away when you move back out either.

i already have mobile broadband but it's a no for 3 reasons...

    1) it's shit, in my current flat with 100% signal it is gash, can't listen to or watch anything! pics are compressed almost beyond visability!
    2) signal out at my rents is below average
    3) my bedroom is in the cellar, so fuck lugging my pc up the stairs eveytime i wana see some boobs!

Can't you just take the broadband contract with you when you move?

Say you went with Virgin media on a 12 month contract, after 6 or so months at your perents house just phone them up and saying I'm moving house to blah blah and get them to move the broadband over.
