Brisk - Lost & Found Mixtapes

VOL. I

I recently discovered a selection of my old DJ mixes on cassette tape in a box in the attic! These were recorded WAY back in the day in my bedroom, typically after a visit to the local record store so I could record and listen to my latest beats.

These bring back many memories for me and I hope that you enjoy the tunes as much as I do! This part 1 of 6 volumes so there will be more to follow :)

You're supposed to say that about old school and the whole 91-93 era. Gabba's the black sheep Deegs.

Anyway what's the difference between gabba and 'hardcore' mate?

I don´t wanna say thats narrow-minded but thats not how I roll. The so called split..I didn´t do it. Afaik Slammin Vinyl still has lots of different styles under "one" roof. In Germany we played "everything" on one floor till the latest 90s. I´m from europe, we grew up with 4x4.

Fuck knows, is there any? I think Gabber may be all the older, a bit faster stuff..the term gabber pretty much vanished when it all got slower around 98.

I don´t care Pops..I really don´t care. Back then we had all the music under one roof.

respect, that Volume 2 is stuffed full of awesome breakbeat hardcore, and Vol 3 had some nice UK 4x4 hardcore.
