I want to replicate the vocal sound used at the drop of Bright Lights by Dj die & interface. How abouts would I create this vocal sound? Is it just vocoding or is there more to it?

if your talking about the "dj hype" bit its a program for mac called speak. most vocal synthesisers will have a simmilar nnoise. brockie used it in system check. if your on about the actual vocals then vocoders and stuff will be your ticket althought those vocs sound wicked and it'l be hard to replicate it.

a nice handy bit of software to replicate this sound with any vocals (or anything tbh) is sugarbytes - robotronic. amazing piece of software and its midi triggered so u can choose the pitch of the vocal thats coming through. bit pricey tho.
