I thought this would be a pretty good idea, especially for newbies at dnb production. Ive been producing a few months now and ive wanted to see a thread like this for a while. Basically just post the name of the break and how it is constructed (hi-hats, shakers, kicks, snares etc.) Heres an example:

Amen Break

H > H > H > H > H > H > H > H >

K - Kick
H - Hi-Hat
S - Snare

yeah its not bad it is uselful for ppl new to producing..it took me a few hours to figure out how where to put wich kick n snare where when i first started using software...

well you should really work this stuff out on your own.... but what the hell i wanna have a go!! :teeth:

i anit gonna bother with ghost snares or hats... they are down to you

I cant get my fucking head around this break im always hearing, its in like basically every track, i cant work it out, i think it may be hi-hats, you can here it nicely in 'feelings' by shy fx and the power, if anybody could help me out here i'd appreciate it so much!

it doesent sound right with all hi hats and shakers so make sure u try the right ones

bUT FOR REAL, download some basic jungle break from anywhere on the net and listen to the rolls - then chop it up into pieces and try to reconstruct it again yourself beat by beat. That'll give you the idea how the little hits in between work.
