Hey, wondering how you'd achieve a good brass sound. I've attempted with simple saws, but it's pretty much a distant sound from what I want.

    Something sounding kinda like this,

I could probably try and sample some, but a synth is much more convenient or ideas to achieve it with a synth.

All good realistic instruments aren't synthesized, they're samples.

You don't have to sample them yourself, you can either get a soundfont, or a Kontakt library of something. Have a google for brass plugins.
Or maybe people here can recommend some...

I've started collecting stuff to sample, but I'm just fooking lazy at the moment, and have to prepare for examination. But ye, I've looked around, just always nice to see suggestions on the boards. Though I take not many DnB producers use brass in their tunes lol.

Yeah, Imma learn some myself, and prepare for the inevitable trumpetstep.
