What bpm are you guys usually playing at when you mix?
180 bpm-ish I think
Usually around 198 average =]
Standard dnb track is 170-174bpm
Then just add your % you use on the deck of the original bpm to the original bpm of the track
Think thats the right equation lol
Until they lock usually.
usually at about 181 - 182bpm
178 for me.. Don't like it too fast personally
I have no idea, usually start my first tune between +2 and +3% pitch.
Any reason why you ask bro?
I love cranking the speed up! normally mix about 183-185 but i daresay it's been faster before
Seriously though, I just play at whatever speed sounds right.
I make my tracks at 174bpm, when played 180-182-ish they sound about right
same here also helps to spin around this because if your using technics you have plenty of pitch space to lock slower tunes
i mix at the speed of where i last left the pitch. but sometimes i like to pitch it up.
lol I bought a load of recs off some girl on ebay. she wrote the revs on the labels but she wrote 33km or 45km! sinse when are records pressed at 35kilometers? haha
That is sum fast spinning records lol!
aye will be needing some V8 technics to spin theese
I usually mix DnB at about 179.
too fast takes alot of the funk out of the tunes, i mix at around 175-178,
get on down to funky town
I tend to stick to between 178-180... This is ideal for me, adds a bit of energy with out being too fast.
