You'll get a few nights a month at the O2 Academy in Boscombe (formerly the opera house), but most of the other nights are at Dusk till Dawn, Firestation or The Winchester in the triangle theres normally a few boat partys in the summer too.
Ah nice. I want to reach this (haven't been to a Subsoil night, yet), but Shogun Audio takes priority.
If anyone's interested I did this the other day. Some of the mixing could be better and I'll get a tl done sometime soon for anyone that wants it, as long as I can remember what the tracks are (I'm selling it well here).
I don't know, but I will have a google. There's a bit of a shortage of MCs in Bournemouth's drum & bass nights, it seems. Although, having said that, I only recently learnt that there's a hip hop scene here, so I'm probably just being oblivious

Fair play! The first video I've come across and it's big!
Yer man get down there! Sound guys and nice selection of vinyl (mainly hip hop, soul, reggae etc but they keep about 20 d&b tunes in). Best thing about vinyl shopping in there is that they'll just plug the decks in for you so you can mix through stuff. They seem pretty up for people coming in and playing sets whenever as well during the day, and they've got the occasional open mic/open deck night.
As for that Dirty Dike video, it's from a night at the Winchester but they only did one or two nights. If your into your Hip Hop, there's a new night at the Winchester called What'cha Want?. Roast Beatz runs it, who's a heavy Dj in his own right. He's got a few albums out in collab with mc's like Pheonix da Icephire of Triple Darkness, and stuff coming with Jehst and all sorts. Next ones Dr Syntax & Enlish on 13th.
