    If you get booked to play a set at een event, do you have to pay your own trip and taxi and hotel?

    wrong section - but anyways ... if it's in your town you'll only get set fee. outside your town - promoter should pay for accommodation and provide transport. usually theyd have restaurants, drugs and booze sorted before hand. also ,it's easier if you have have a booking agent --- be careful coz a lot of promoters dont like paying.

    Also as far as the not paying aspect goes. Make sure you try get a contract sorted. 50% is transferred and then 50% in cash after your set is complete.
