cool. am i right in thinking tho.

generally, upon the thousands that get created every single day, none of them will really get any views.

you sorts think whats the point. if only 10 ppl will ever stumble across it.. read 3 lines then go back to watching porn or whatever..

seems abit pointless doesnt it? or am i missing something?

most blogs i see are like " went shopping in new york 2day, it got me thinking i have to move hear sometime, but what about my job back home? what about the kids? do i try find them schooling in new york? .. "

that kinda thing.. with no comments or anything.

why ?

fucking why ?

plz help me before i cry.

Gf's got a fashion blog. makes a load of money off it and gets a fuck load of views. Kinda makes sense in that it's a platform of user generated opinion. But I just can't get over the word. Its fucking stupid. And 99% of them are by retards making uninformed statements and bitching about theirs lives. I know some people who have done them when they went away travelling or whatever, never cared enough about the people to ever really read it, but that also makes sense.

It makes sense to do them if you're doing it for fashion or sharing your art, music, videos etc on it, where you can make money from it. But using it as an open online diary just to show how stupid you are to the rest of the world is just pointless.

Blogs made for a specific purpose are cool, like Fletch's review blog. Many successful websites have started from humble blog beginnings, no?

Blogs to talk about those cool new shoes you saw in a shop window, pointless! But all part of the human condition to be liked/loved, like Herojuana said, just like facebook and dnbforum.

People also take that shit seriously, views or no views it becomes an important part of their life. Ha, someone neg repped me the other day on here, laughably now I think I sat there for 15 mins thinking, why would someone do that, and call me a loser for saying I took acid and some truffly trippy things. I got a grip in the end!!

People want to be heard, and ultimately crave acceptance, interwebz is such a big part of peoples lives now, even with no views people want in on the action.

One of my friends is manic depressive and she finds using a blog is almost therapeutic. She can get stuff off her chest without anyone having to even hear it. yanahmean
