That is truly sad. Have producers really become so unoriginal that they have to copy some weak sound someone else has clearly already done enough just to get a release. U only have to read 1 interview of any successful long time producer to know that is the opposite to what you should be doing.

I guess the silver lining of it all is it shows who's music not to bother listening too in the future

Probably doesn't even cover all boat steppers but it's quite clear that Serum made this sound popular in the first place. Benny L is a bandwagon jumper as is Bou and whoever else are doing that type of sound.
 
Low Blow because, none of the others released before really took off quite like Low Blow. As soon as low blow was released and went huge everyone got on the boat bass
